As the saying goes, “Where the mind goes, the energy flows.” When your mind is in the future, in the past, on someone else, or somewhere else, so is your energy. It is necessary and helpful to review the past, plan for the future, and think outside of ourselves. Just remember to bring all that attention and energy back home now and then. Sense your body, feel the ground, and go from fragmented to total presence.
