Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
​6-week series

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based program created in 1979 by Jon-Kabat Zinn, a graduate of MIT with a Ph.D. in molecular biology. This secular, intensive mindfulness training can assist people dealing with stress, chronic pain, illness, anxiety, depression, & much more.
  • Cultivate your skill at navigating life by engaging with present moment awareness
  • Learning & understanding comes from direct experience in your daily practice & from class discussion
  • In class, explore the practices of sitting meditation, body scans, & gentle movement, followed by group sharing
  • At home, practice mindfulness daily with guided recordings
  • Includes a Saturday Silent Retreat offering an opportunity to deepen your practice
