In the constant drive to get more done, to do better, to be better, it can be challenging to let ourselves rest. This might require leaving a task half-finished or putting it off to another time. We often rationalize with ourselves, as if we need permission to slow down or be still. When we give permission to be who we are and for life to be as it is—even just for one inhale and one exhale—this can be a game-changer.
